Packing

Natures Fruit Company packs fruit on behalf of members for least cost and in the format required by the major supermarket chains. We pack the majority of fruit at our Glass House Mountains shed and contract pack the remainder toother certified packhouses across the country. All the remote sheds contract pack our members fruit and maintain close ties with Natures Fruit Company at all times as regards grading standards and quality control.

The Staff

We employ a team of 25 casual employees for our packing operation, of which the majority have been with the company for the past 4 seasons. This reflects in our high packout rate per man hour, which is well above industry average.

We are auditing from paddock to plate, as our commitment to ensuring consistency of quality for our customers. For growers the benefits of a cooperative approach to the volume packaging and marketing of their produce, are lower processing costs and the highest market price achievable at any given time.
